X-periment With An Egg

You’ll need
• 1-12 ounce glass
• 1 uncooked egg in the shell
• 1 bottle of white vinegar
• 1 large piece (4” x 4") of plastic wrap
• 1 large rubber band

Gently place the egg in the shell inside the glass. Pour vinegar into the glass until the egg is covered. Cover the glass top with plastic wrap and secure with a rubber band. Place your egg x-periment on a counter where you can observe what happens each day.

Record what happens to the egg on each of the next 5 days. Share your answer with ThisWildLife.com. Write and tell us what happened or record and upload your voice telling us the results. Or send a photographs of you and your x-periment. Can you explain what happens? Your x-perimental “answers” will displayed in a special article !

At the end of your x-periment, please dispose of your egg responsibly.
